Analytics & privacy

Optional first-party analytics helps FoxicTail improve the AION 2 guide. Collection begins only after you choose Allow. You can decline or change your choice using “Analytics & privacy” in the site footer.

What is collected

A random browser identifier, sessions, consented page views and feature actions, coarse country/device/browser categories, language, referring domain and campaign labels, visible active time, technical performance and anonymized error fingerprints. Game classes and gear-score bands may be used to compare feature usage.

What is excluded

Our analytics does not receive character names, place names or notes, typed search queries, full URLs, IP addresses, email addresses, keystroke recordings or session replays. No advertising fingerprint is created. Visits that decline analytics, enable DNT/GPC, or are identified as bots are excluded. The browser identifier does not link different devices.

Storage and controls

Raw events are retained for 90 days; daily presence summaries for 730 days; unmatched click references for 365 days. Pseudonymous first/last-visit and confirmed revenue records support lifetime/cohort reporting. Local identifiers and queued events are cleared when you decline. Reports are restricted to the owner. Blocking browser storage, clearing it, or changing domains can create a new identity. Declining does not erase earlier server records immediately; raw-event retention still applies.

Payments and the map

Outgoing payment/partner links can carry a random click reference after consent, separate from the browser identifier. Payment revenue is recorded only when the owner imports confirmed transactions; the site does not automatically receive your Boosty payment details. The TH.GL map is an external embedded service with its own privacy policy; we measure our controls and iframe load timing, not clicks or movement inside it.
